Patricia "Theresa" Oswald

Patricia “Theresa” Oswald , a longtime resident of Verplanck,NY died on July 15, 2022. She was 93 years old. Patricia was born on December 1, 1928 in Peekskill, NY to Patrick and Anna (Dulin) Boddie. Patricia was the owner/operator of the Anchor Inn at the Steamboat Dock in Verplanck. She was a parishioner of the St. Patrick’s Church, Parent Volunteer at the St. Patrick’s School and Sing Out in Peekskill, NY, A Member of Verplanck Fire Department Lady’s Auxiliary. Patricia was loved by everyone who knew and never met a stranger. She is survived by her husband Ted Oswald of 66 years, daughter, Patricia Oswald, Son in law, Kevin McPartland, son Teddy, who predeceased her, granddaughters, Charity Cook (Patrick) and Kelly McPartland, great grandchildren, Joseph, Dillon and Hailey, sisters, Mary Laterza, Eileen Ryan (Jim), Ellen Boddie, and Katie Scaramellino, brothers, James Boddie (Marie)and Robert Boddie(Doris) and several nieces and nephews. Reposing, Tuesday, July 19, 2022 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the O’Mara & Carpentieri Funeral Home. A mass of Christian burial will be held on 10 AM Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at the St. Patrick’s Church in Verplanck, NY. Interment will follow at the Assumption Cemetery in Cortlandt Manor, NY.
