Michael S. Guida

Michael S. Guida of New Windsor NY died on January 30, 2022. He was 55 years old. Mike was born November 8, 1966 in New Rochelle to Fred and Sheila (Pirelli) Guida. He graduated from the New York City Police Academy in 1987. He worked at the Town of Cortlandt Police briefly before transferring to the Village of Buchanan Police Department retiring in May 2018 after 32 years in law enforcement. After retirement he worked with his daughter at the Storm King Art Center. Besides his mother Sheila, Mike is survived by his children Kayla and Jake, brothers and sisters, Fred Jr. (Cindy), Cara (Patrick) Mahoney, and Patrick (Lori), many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Mike is predeceased by his father Fred Sr. and many of his exotic pets that he had. Reposing, Tuesday, February 1, 2022 4:00-8:00 PM at the O’Mara & Carpentieri Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be 10:15 AM at Holy Spirit Church in Cortlandt Manor, NY. A private cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mike’s memory to one of his favorite charities, st.jude.org.
