Henry “Hank” Goldberg passed on April 8, 2021. He was born in the Bronx, New York on April 15, 1941.
At 18 years old, he enlisted in the Navy and was assigned to the Naval escort Destroyer, USS Kyne, while waiting to be deployed overseas. Hank retired from the NYC Department of Corrections and was also a member of the NYS National Guard. After retirement from NYC Dept. of Corrections, he continued his education to become a Paralegal and Medical Records Coder. Another career awaited him as he became the Outpatient Medical Records Secretary at Blythedale Children’s Hospital.
Hank and his wife loved to travel and he had an encyclopedic knowledge of all things sports. He loved animals, especially cats and his best feline bud, Pearl.
Give him a good debate, a good meal and he was a happy man.
Hank is survived by his wife Victoria of 34 years. They were blessed to having spent 17 years together in retirement enjoying life, travels and their friends.
