Diane Marie Tandy

Diane Marie Tandy passed away on the morning of November 10, 2021 at the age of 61. Diane was born on October 28, 1960 in Peekskill, NY to Alfred and Lorraine Tandy (Harding) of Croton, NY. She is predeceased by her parents, sister Carol (Tandy) Duffy, and niece Renee Belleavue. She is survived by her sons Robert Curran Jr. (Nicole), Ryan Curran (Tiffany), grandson Ryan Curran Jr., her siblings, Susan (Tandy) Burton, Alfred Tandy, Edward Tandy, and Robert Lupica. In addition she has nine special nieces and nephews and five great nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her two dogs who she loved dearly, Maggie and Tuck. Diane was born and raised in Croton, NY and then moved to Buchanan, NY where she raised her sons. She graduated from Hendrick Hudson High School in 1978 where she was involved with the cheerleading team. Diane enjoyed cooking for her family, rooting for her NY Giants, and attending aerobics classes, especially early morning spin. She loved spending time on the Hudson River with family and friends. Diane started her own company called Executive Office Services. She recently retired from the Hendrick Hudson School District where she worked for many years in the District Office as an Administrative Assistant for the Business Department. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to the American Diabetes Association. The family is having a wake on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 from 4pm - 8pm at O’Mara & Carpentieri Funeral Home in Verplanck, NY. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Christopher’s Church in Buchanan, NY on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 11am.
