Craig Michael Auth

Craig Michael Auth, 59, of Verplanck, NY passed away unexpectedly on May 31, 2022. Craigwas born on September 6, 1962, in the Bronx, NY to George and Angela Auth. Craig grew up in the Bronx before his family relocated to Mohegan lake where he graduated Lakeland High School. Craig followed in his father’s footsteps and became an accomplished builder who was known for his professional craftsmanship .Craig is survived by three beautiful daughters Bryonna Costable (Auth), Karrington Auth, and Mackenzie Auth; his son in-law, James Costable, grandson Connor James Costable who was the light of his life; wife Doreen Auth (Vasi); his mother Angela Auth, siblings Steve Auth, George Auth, Judy Lerry (Auth), and Russell Auth; and daughter’s mother, Patty Wagner. Craig was a family orientated man, a beacon who enjoyed spending time with his grandson, children, and wife. Craig was a passionate golfer and spent his final hours doing what he loved.  Craig was known for lighting up the room with his humor and practical jokes. He will be missed greatly by everyone that was fortunate enough to know him. Reposing Tuesday 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM at the O’Mara & Carpentieri Funeral Home. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 AM Wednesday at St. Columbanus Church in Cortlandt Manor. A private Cremation will follow.
