Barbara J. Stinson

Barbara J. Stinson of Peekskill, NY died on July 11, 2023. She was 64 years old. Barbara was born in Cold Spring, NY on February 28, 1959 to David and Donna (Pullen) Stinson. Barbara graduated from Hendrick Hudson High School in 1977. She loved her career as a nurse’s aide at Maryknoll Fathers & Brothers for 33 years. Barbara was an avid animal lover that rescued several dogs. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Barbara is survived by her mother Donna Edwards, her children, Emily Stinson and Evan Leone, Sisters, Diane Stinson and Nicole (Andy) Laureti, Nieces and Nephews, William Conklin Jr., Michael D. Stinson Jr., Vincent Laureti, Sarah Stinson and Cassandra Laureti. She was predeceased by her son Robert Hosey Jr, Father, David F. Stinson, Brother, Michael Stinson and Niece Erica Conklin. Reposing, Friday, July 14, 2023 from 3:00-7:00 PM at the O’Mara and Carpentieri Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Verplanck, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Rosary Hill Home, 600 Linda Avenue, Hawthorne, NY 10532 or the ASPCA @ secure.aspca.org.
