On July 4th 2022 , Antonio (Tony) M Rocha, age 89, loving father, stepfather, step grandfather and step great-grandfather passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his children Lynn, Mark, and Tony (on video) the mother of his children Joanne Marafioti Rocha Leader , his sister Dorothy, brother John and August ( on phone) ...Born May 12 1933 and raised in Ossining NY, Tony joined the Marines and proudly serviced his country in the Korean War 1952-1954. Married his 1st love and had his 3 children and worked as an Iron worker in Local 580 until retirement..... He moved to Daytona Shores Florida with his 2nd wife Beatrice in 1991, where they enjoyed the ocean, flea market dealers, golfing and retirement until her death in 2015. He then moved to Phoenix AZ to be with his 3 children and back home to NY with his daughter Lynn in 2019 to enjoy the beautiful river and Hudson Valley. He loved watching golf, gardening and yard work.. he was very artistic and loved to take old items and bring them back to life. His talents were many and he did more than I can say to enhance the beautiful home we shared. Tony was the most kind, loving and sweet hearted man with lots of swagger... He was always helping others and giving of his time to those in need. He lovingly took on the role of father for Aunt MaryAnn, when grandpa Rocco died at age 45, and took the best care of Nana Arcangela for many many years.... Anyone that knew him was blessed by his gentle and loving essence. He gave and gave of himself until his body could no longer sustain him. We will miss him more than words can say..
