Anthony "Tony" L. Zerello

Anthony Lewis Zerello, Born on May 27th, 1943 in Peekskill NY, to Vincent and Leona Zerello of Buchanan NY, passed away on June 1st, 2022 at the age of 79.Anthony loved his family, friends, hunting, fishing, his classic cars, jet skis, and spending time on the Hudson River.He graduated from Hendrick Hudson High School in 1962 and served in the United States Navy until 1967, when he was honorably discharged. Anthony worked as a Service Technician for Robison Oil out of Elmsford New York and was a member of Teamsters Union Local 456 for 30 plus years.  Anthony was also known by his colleagues for his sharp wit, wicked sense of humor, and great ability to tell a story. Anthony is survived by his seven (7) children, Sharyn (John) Mastropaolo, Laura Zerello, Vincent Zerello, Anthony (Kate) Zerello, Keith Zerello, Jamie (Anthony) Cipriani, Krysti Zerello, 15 Grandchildren, two nieces Amy (Will) Mauro, Jenny Zerello, sister-in-law Tina Zerello and left behind his long time companion, Carol Townley. He was predeceased by his parents, Vincent and Leona Zerello, and his brother John (Butch) Zerello.  Visitation Monday, June 6, from 4:00pm-8:00pm at O’Mara & Carpentieri Funeral Home in Verplanck.
